The staff are what makes the gym. Friendly and helpful tailoring individual sessions to match your goals and with a good range of group classes available too.
Adrenalin Health was started in 1991, specialising in sport specific training for athletes, particularly footballers, skiers, cricketers, tennis players and tri-athletes.
In 1997 it created the first personal training specific centre in the northern suburbs and in 2004 a second site in Hawthorn was opened.
Since Hawthorn’s first days, Director and Founder Carl Ziebell has been employing and developing some of Melbourne’s finest personal trainers. Managing Director Ashley Weir has been on board since 2007, first as a trainer and now as co-owner.
Both Carl and Ash supervise an experienced team of trainers and therapists who implement the highly regarded ‘Adrenalin Health Personal Training Systems’ in posture and corrective exercise, weight management, strength and conditioning, and general fitness.
What we do
Statistics show that less than 5% of Victorians engage in supervised exercise programs, whilst more than 50% of these people will give up within the first five weeks.
By having a weekly appointment with a caring trainer, clients are more likely to adhere to an exercise program, more likely to maintain healthy eating habits, and more likely to obtain results faster than those trying to do it all on their own.
Adrenalin Health has been specifically designed to create a relaxed, non-threatening friendly environment. Adrenalin suits those who are intimidated by big gyms or who have found other fitness centres don’t give them the attention they need to achieve their health and fitness goals.
Some clients come to us wanting to lose a few kilos, others are referred to us to assist with injury rehabilitation, whilst some just want to improve their health and feel better.
Educating people to find a balance between maintaining a healthy lifestyle and the stresses of modern living is the core focus for Adrenalin Health staff.
This regularly involves personal training sessions’ specific in one, or a combination, in our three key areas:
- functional resistance training;
- cardio-vascular fitness and endurance; and
- corrective exercise
It may also involve goal setting, nutritional analysis, postural analysis and in some cases referral to our network of health practitioners.
We understand that some people may find personal training out of reach, so we have a number of cost effective group training and membership programs that may suit those on a budget.
