history
Adrealin Health prides itself on having the most experienced trainers in Hawthorn, with the foundations of Adrenalin Health being formed in 1991 when founder Carl Ziebell commenced business as a mobile personal trainer, sports conditioning coach and biomechanist.
Some of his clients included Carey Grammar Ski Team., MLC Ski team, St Catherine’s Ski Team, Fitzroy Football Club, Preston (Now Northern Blues) Football Club and the Australian Table Tennis Squad.
Carl saw a niche where athletes and the general population needed assistance improving performance, managing and preventing injuries and progressing from acute rehabilitation back into full training programs. Gyms and gym instructors were simply not the answer.
In 1997 Adrenalin Health opened the first ever dedicated personal training gym in the northern suburbs and in 2004 a second studio in Hawthorn was launched.
During that time Adrenalin Health was keenly sought to write and develop personal training education courses throughout Victoria. Carl and the team lectured in a number of programs including Swinburne, Go Work Skills, Gippsland TAFE and the AIF.
The process of educating so many fitness professionals gave Adrenalin Health a wonderful advantage in being able to source and further develop the best trainers available. These high standards still exist at Adrenalin Health and the studio is well known for the high professional standards of its personal trainers and the knowledge that they possess.
Ashley Weir came on board as a senior trainer in 2007, and has successfully made the transition into manager and now managing director. Ashley has worked tirelessly to improve the studio and modernize the programs the studio offers.
Since 2007 the Adrenalin Health Personal Training Program has evolved into a well-being program that not only manages and prevents injuries, but works on improving function, developing fitness, and fat loss. Carl and Ashley continue to supervise an experienced team of trainers and therapists who train and treat clients in both individual and small group (less than 6 participants) sessions.
